Some of our friends’ reviews:

  • IMG_8980An experience that will stay with you for a long time! The cycling trip into the Buzau wilderness was a great way to experience Romania for the first time. Mircea is a great guide with a passion for history, nature and his country. Always flexible to our needs and keen to ensure that we had the best experience. It felt like a real privilege to meet some wonderful people on the way – our guide for the walk from Colți needs special mention, Gavrila Diana, her knowledge of the area’s history, mythology and nature made the visit so special – Geoff, Long Buckby, EnglandSee full review here.

  • IMG_9299An amazing experience to see nature in an European country, not only the history, buildings and monuments, but we have also seen the customs, traditional food and its people. It was well organized, we had no accident. The accommodation was good and the help provided by Mircea on the last day taking the bikes in the car was the best – Josy, Santa Cruz, GalapagosSee full review here.

Join Cycling Romania for a week of cycling in the wild nature of Buzău County! The route is addressed to nature lovers and cyclists with a good physical fitness.

What do we do: We visit  a land full of mystery and legends in Northern Buzău. Here we find many cave churches dating from the pre-christian era, we admire hills covered with meadows and an abundance of flower species. The Mud Volcanoes, one of the most impressive natural wonders from Buzău area, are waiting for us. And this is not all: salt mountains, wild dark forests, old monasteries and remote villages, this is what we experience during 6 days of adventure. Come and join us in an unique cycling experience in a land that Europe hasn’t discovered yet!

Our philosophy implies protecting the environment. Therefore we use the car as less as possible. We drive the car only until the base point (start/end place) and from there we do round-out bike trips. We take with us on bikes the gear needed for 1-3 days. At every return to the base camp we can change our clothes. We don’t want to carry all the time our luggage by car. The main luggage can safely be stored at the base camp.
The first two participants who book this tour will receive free car or train transfer from/to Bucharest, on Day 1 and Day 7, respectively.

We have some beautiful photos from our tours to share with you. Hope you enjoy them!
